After finishing my education, I started working in sales where I was for more than a year. As there were no opportunities to learn more and advance and after an opportunity presented itself, I decided to quit my job and open my own bar (Irish pub) in the heart of my hometown. It was a great experience as I learned so much, from Event organization (I even organized concerts as an added business, the biggest for 10.000 people), bookkeeping, managing that everything runs smoothly, keeping the customers happy to (not so) simple waitering.At the end of 2015. I took a sales job at a company that produces PVC & ALU windows & doors.In the late 2016. I was invited from the vice president of the Croatian parliament and the president of a new political party in Croatia to help them in my region of the land. I organized and structured the party for the whole region, got a lot of professionals on board (PR, marketing…) and even led the local elections as the head of the campaign. Unfortunately, we lost the elections, but only just (for a 100 votes) and with a 15x smaller budget as the winner. It was a good experience that at the end gave me a good insight to how things work.In the year 2018 due to the bad economic situation in Croatia and especially my region I decided to move to Germany and make a fresh start. As I did not know how to speak German, I took a job as a tow-truck driver in which I did not only learn the language but once more proved that you can do anything you set your mind to. In the year 2019 I was lucky to get a job at Siemens backed venture capital company Next47. This was a new experience in which I have got not only a look into the world of finance and investment but also Startups and Accelerators.
