Responsible for managing the entire Polymer department at HS Produkt consisting of injection molding machines, CNC milling machines, CNC engraving machines and a de-flashing sub-department. In task of strategic planning for the whole department. Work closely with both R&D department and mold makers on new products and troubleshooting. Work with all other relevant departments in-house, i.e. quality assurance. Handle raw material orders and all outside partners relevant for the department (service check-ups, equipment ordering etc.). Responsible for efficiency, output and optimization of production, deadlines and quality of parts.Other activities on a more irregular basis include: training of employees (also interviewing, hiring and terminations), introduction of new materials, trials with new tools, continuous process control and development. Trouble-shoot quality/part issues by confirming plastic conditions, root cause analysis to determine true root causes using problem solving approach.

In particular:- perform startups and provide all related documentation appropriately filled out- develop, document and implement standard molding processes- trouble-shoot quality/part issues by confirming plastic conditions, root cause analysis to determine true root causes using problem solving approach- troubleshoot equipment and processing problems related to product quality and to improve efficiency- recommend and improve manufacturing processes for cost reduction- effectively communicate with other departments and between shifts
