With over 15 years of experience in academia and research, I currently work as a senior researcher in social sciences at the Institute for Migration Research (Zagreb, Croatia).I hold an MA in Philosophy and Pedagogy, a PhD in Pedagogy/ Educational Sciences specialising in higher education, and a Postgraduate Specialisation in Instructional Design in Online Teaching. I was a BC PhD scholar at Oxford University and an ESF scholar at Kassel University. I am researching topics related to higher education, such as teaching competencies in higher education, early career researchers' professional socialisation, well-being, mental health, the role of mentors in academia, and the European dimension in education. I have been a consultant and trainer for different HEIs on instructional design, curriculum development, learning outcomes, and collegial teaching observation in higher education. My professional journey has seen me work for organisations like the OECD, EUA and EC. I am also deeply involved in the work and activities of EU4Dual Alliance, contributing my expertise and insights. Moreover, I have been an external evaluator of institutional accreditations and study programme accreditations in different countries - Croatia, Serbia, Austria, Malta, and Poland.Academic promotion levels I have achieved:1.
