Hi, there, I'm Marko! I'm a Software Engineer and a recent graduate from the University of Toronto. Let me tell you about myself :)Surprise surprise, I love to code! Both professionally and personally of course. My passion lies in working with Distributed Systems. I love to watch System Design videos or read blog posts to catch up on the latest trends in the industry, or just to learn how different engineers tackle different problems. And after I have a certain design in mind, I love to implement it, get down to the nitty-gritty, see where that design fails and reiterate on the process. Hoping to make a long and lucrative career out of this passion :)On a more personal level, I'm a huge espresso nerd! I don't have the top-of-the-market espresso machines and coffee grinders, since those would cost me an arm and a leg, but my manual grinder and trusty DeLonghi get the job done just fine. I'm also a big chess fan! I am not extraordinarily good at it by any means, but I do like to attend a chess meet now and then and did have a 1350 ELO rating at one time, so take that for what it's worth :D. I also love to weightlift - I used to do it a ton during my university days, especially late at night, but it has taken a bit of a back seat lately with all of my other hobbies, much to my dismay. But I am working to get back to it as soon as possible!Anyways, that's me! I love to meet new people and hear new perspectives, so don't be shy and come say hi! :)
