Mark George is a Managing Director within Accenture Strategy. He is the Global Practice Leader for Operations and Process Transformation (OPT) whose offerings and capabilities span Operations Strategy, Prime Value Chain and Complexity Analysis, Operational Excellence, Lean Transformation, Lean Analytics, Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement and Business Process Management. Mark is also the global leader for Intelligent Process across the Supply Chain & Operations domain. He has also served as the North American lead for Supply Chain & Operations Strategy (SC&OS) spanning Product Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, and Fulfillment.

I am Accenture's North America practice leader for Supply Chain, Operations and Sustainability Strategy where we help our clients shape tomorrow’s value chains to positively impact business, society and the planet. In collaboration with my leadership team I'm accountable for the following Strategy practice areas: Supply Chain, Sourcing & Procurement, Industry X.O, Sustainability, Operations Strategy and Process Transformation. During my career at Accenture I have previously served as the Global Practice Leader of Operations and Process Transformation which spanned Operations Strategy, Value Chain Analytics, Complexity Management, Lean Transformation and Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement deployment design. As these are universally applicable capabilities and methods I have worked cross-industry and cross-issue. I am in my 12th year at Accenture following their acquisition of George Group Consulting in 2007 where I had previously served as Vice President. My work has been widely published including Harvard Business Review and I hold patents in Supply Chain Planning and Value Chain Analytic Solutions. I am married with two children aged 22 and 19 and am based in Dallas, TX.
