As a current Aquatic Professional taking a team first approach, I am humble and perceptive about others’ needs. Through supporting and developing team members, I feel that building teams are very much about placing individuals where the team can capitalize on their strengths, and engage each other in sharing credit for team success with all members. I am confident in talent acquisition and supporting and empowering collaboration and very much offer a democratic and participative leadership style.More focused with long-term results and the ability to handle average amounts of ambiguity, and brainstorming of alternatives, I am a leader who embraces creative approaches to problem solving and seeks opportunity in taking higher risks. The biggest part of effective leadership is managing through trust. Knowing the relationship between when feedback is necessary and unnecessary is clearly identified through the following statement: For myself, being an Aquatic Professional and spending time to recreate provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth.
