Excited and honored to be chosen as a Senator, USA for The World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF), an international organization whose mission is to ease access to finance for businesses from start-up, to scale up, to exit, with the ultimate goal of generating more jobs and more social justice worldwide. WBAF is also an affiliated partner of the G20 - Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI) chaired by Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. WBAF is committed to: Collaborate globally to empower world economic development by creating innovative financial instruments for innovators, start-ups, and SMEs.Interact with leaders in all areas of society, first and foremost in business and political spheres, to help assess needs and establish goals, bearing in mind that the public interest is of paramount importance.Help shape the global agenda to prove that multiple sectors and all parts of society can achieve progress.Engage a wide range of individuals and institutions that are from both public and private, local, international, commercial, and academic circles. My inclusion as a WBAF Senator, USA, will enable international students and their families to have better access to the United States in terms of investment opportunities as well as their pursuit of US permanent residency status. I look forward to empowering economic development globally by working with WBAF. It is rewarding to see that governments around the world have understood the importance of angel investment for boosting their economies.
