Analytical Laboratory Manager
CurrentAccountable for the Analytical Laboratory Operations, Safety, and Resourcing.- Uphold best lab practices by development and implementation of QA/QC and SOPs- Supervise the operation, calibration, diagnostics and maintenance of various analytical instruments and equipment, including but not limited to GC, GC/MS, XRD, UV/VIS, pH meters, Analytical scales- Analytical Laboratory budget and billing, inventory, sample retention, and forecasting project resources- Support Project Managers in determining project schedules, cost requirements, workflow, and strategy in chemical analytics- Planning and scheduling analytical equipment and personnel related to projects- Assisting in the analysis, compilation, and presentation of data, including writing technical reports- Analytical testing and experimental setup, including brainstorming and applying new ideas and technology in the areas of lab techniques, sample preparations, instrumentation- Establish and maintain relationships with analytical vendors and service providers- Engages in analytical laboratory infrastructure and processes- Staying current on evolving industry practices and standards
