I currently have 6+ years (including a Master's) of experience in mechatronics roles involving biomedical and biotech applications, consumer electronics, and many other fields. I'm primarily a generalist that excels in system level thinking but can also dive into specific applications involving electronics architecture and design, as well as firmware and software implementation and electro-mechanical integration.I'm currently working as a Product Development Engineer at Inertia where I both lead and contribute to projects. Every day at my role involves problem solving and finding solutions to real world applications. Previously, I was the lead product developer for a startup building the next generation of diagnostic tools for detecting ear disorders. What started as a contract role turned into multiple years of overseeing and executing the development of a proof of concept medical device.Aside from an master's in biomedical engineering and a bachelor's in mechatronic systems engineering, my accomplishments include two publications, submission of a patent, and an award for "Best Design" at the Hamlyn Surgical Robotics Competition in 2017. I can speak three languages and I'm actively learning a fourth.
Listed skills include C++, C, Python, Java, and 18 others.
