Leading the technical interoperability short haul tests for United States European Command's military excercise "Combined Endeavor" for 5 years. More than 40 participating nations test teams under command conducting the radio systems interoperability tests with their HF / VHF / UHF combat net radio equipment. A lot lof planning meetings, negotiations, instructing and command was required to succeed.

Worked as Chief Communications Officer (S6, special officer) for the first Finnish participation in the European Union Battlegroups. EUBG 1/2007 was a multinational task force with army forces from Germany, Finland and Netherlands. The work included a lot of technical negotiations, process planning and practical solution finding for achieving the multinational interoperability for DEU-FIN-NLD military communications. Operation was succesful.

Military R&D Engineer (special officer) in FDF CIS School, national subject matter expert for HF / VHF / UHF Combat Net Radio systems and Satellite Communication Systems. Main project was the deployment and integration of the new digital Elbit/Tadiran CNR systems for FDF Army use. In addition of the R&D engineering projects this work included operator and technical personnell course planning, directing and education tasks for joint Electronic Warfare (ES/EA/EP joint basic and advanced courses).
