Previously held roles in Talent Mgt. where he was responsible for the development, engagement & retention strategy for executive ranks & high potentials. Includes ID'ing emerging trends w global thought leaders to reveal ways to keep critical talent and enable others to leverage their unique strengths in the org. Previously led the company’s college recruiting strategy for all brands & functions. Was at Gap Inc. 13 years where he’s had other roles in HR, IT and a business-leader role in Banana Republic. Prior to Gap Inc. worked in HR with AAA as a generalist as well as managed sub-functions in HR. Also served an enlistment in the US Navy. Received his BS from San Francisco State University. Returned years later and received his MA in Instructional Design. In 2008 completed a 15 month Life Coaching Certification program in Palo Alto at the Institute for Transformational Psychology and also achieved ICF certification. On weekends is a Coach for first-time marathon runners who commit to six months of training to complete the San Francisco Marathon. Other activities include being a board member of Project Open Hand, an organization that provides meals to people with HIV/Aids, other critical illnesses and to seniors. He is a certified facilitator with Life-force Educational Corporation, whose mission is to empower people to actualize their potential and contribute to their communities.
