Markos steers the helm of August Leadership's Australian operations, an executive search firm renowned for its human-centric approach to executive recruitment and search, and with offices in over 20 countries.With more than 25 years of experience in executive search, Markos focuses on the Technology & Innovation, Private Equity, Industrial and Retail industries. He has conducted C-suite and Board searches for major global companies, with successful placements in Australia, Asia, the USA and Latin America. Prior to his fifteen years of work in search, Markos spent as many years working in Telecom, with a particular focus on global clients and their operations in Asia. Throughout his career, Markos has been featured in business media on topics as diverse as Human Capital, Leadership and BPO – these include Bloomberg News, Fox Business, Crain’s, Wall Street Ticker Magazine, and the International Herald Tribune.Markos has had a unique journey, from Chile to growing up and working in Australia, working in the US for over 20 years, and returning to Australia to start August Leadership’s business. This fuels his passion to help Australian companies in two ways. Firstly, achieving global expansion ambitions, and secondly, impacting Australian businesses locally, by introducing August’s global experience, and its access to the world’s best talent.
