Engineering management of team of internal and external resources for the development, qualification, and implementation of RF, HFC and FITL optical technologies for the Broadband Sector of CommScope.• Led next generation R&D and product development of the RFoG product line of micro nodes, optical passives, and enclosure products growing the business by $4M over a 3-year period.• Expanded the optical window of the tap product line to 1260-1620nm using PLC optics, allowing customers to simultaneously support PON, RFoG and CWDM services.• Led effort to develop Microcode with expanded optics to support both 1G and 10G PON system wavelengths over the same network.• Led development of a dual mount, multi-output port plus VoIP port amplifier, growing the amplifier product line from a $2M to a >$35M business over a 3-year period.• Improved power inserter isolation by 30 dB, reducing LTE band ingress into the operator network through the power supply/amplifier.• Developed and introduced standardized testing procedures, data set collection, and report templates and redundancy on key test equipment reducing product qualification time by 15%.• Introduced automated RF test equipment which reduced technician test time from 45 to 3 minutes.• Filed 12 communications technology patents.
