Mark is a Digital Workplace Practice Lead with over 10 years of information technology experience that includes people and project management, business analysis, information architecture, and software development & testing. He has extensive experience in leading diverse teams, workshop facilitation and conflict resolution - backed by an education in Project Management, Business Analysis, and Software Engineering. His ability to translate and provide a bridge between business and technology is well recognized and often leads to a ‘win-win’ solution for stakeholders with diverse business objectives and technology staff. Mark has spent the last 10 years working on numerous projects, using the M365 stack including Microsoft Teams and SharePoint (2007, 2010 and 2013, 2016 and Online). He recognizes the importance and many ways M365 can enhance the lives of employees who use it. Examples of his work include: portal and site design, custom automated workflows, security provisioning, and various other implementations of custom solutions. Mark continues to grow and educate further into the areas of M365 (Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform), People Leadership, User Experience (UX), Business Analysis (BA), Project Management and Delivery, and Information Architecture (IA) on a daily basis.Mark is a former member of the Information Architect Institute (IAI) and was the organizer for the Canadian portion of World IA Day 2015, which serves to bring the global IA community together, as well as promote awareness of IA to the local community.Mark is a self-starter and very detail oriented with great analytical and problem solving skills.He loves building taxonomies and helping clients in categorizing and organizing their content into meaningful ways and then designing the user interfaces and experience to take advantage of it.
