My earlier years were spent abroad, predominately in South America, teaching myself the quirks and techniques of veritae filmmaking. I gained invaluable experience working with community cooperatives, micro-finance institutions, and personal stories. During that time, I covered Fidel Castro's transition of power in Cuba, was a correspondent for several production and social sector companies and managed to earn my degree in International Relations with a concentration on environmental politics from American University. For the past 7 years I've worked as a producer and creative strategist in the fields of social enterprise, science, technology, and international development. I've produced countless short-form miscellaneous and promotional videos for a variety of individuals and organizations and have had films screened in festivals around the world. To date, I've held screenings at the San Francisco Ocean Film Festival, the Hong Kong International Film Festival, the Puerto Rico International Film Festival, and the Culture Unplugged Online Film festival. Currently residing in Washington D.C., I've worked as a web developer for a variety of organizations, events, and small businesses as well as a videographer/photographer on both domestic and international contracts. In my spare time, I'm a social media consultant specializing in campaign strategy and analytics as well as an adventure photographer/filmmaker specializing in rock-climbing, ice-climbing, and motorcycle sport.
