Provide analytical and operational support to optimimize the efficiency of the parts distribution center operations, as well as implementation and maintenance of the warehouse management system.• Organized Automated Legacy parts locator system location address and characteristic data, utilizing Access and Excel for IS transfer to an AS400 Warehouse Management System that control operator activities in order picking and stock keeping.• Created complete CAD Space planning Racking and office layout, storage equipment matrices, and electrical and mechanical data for New Part Centers and working warehouse reconfigurations, for quotation bidding and construction.• Developed a CAD 3D Racking and Bin storage equipment block library with attributes to produce a component bill of materials to support the launch of several new Parts Centers in Greenville SC, Smyrna TN, Baltimore MD and Orlando FL.• Formulated ad hoc reports with COGNOS Impromptu and Access to establish and maintain a standard Fast Pick part listing and location area for the entire PDC network to improve stock keeping and Picking.• Improved WMS AS400 operational efficiencies via teamwork with development of a new 7-digit location-numbering scheme, Aisle, Bay, and Shelf & Position for mezzanine and pallet locations. Design several WMS SQL query to update location numbering characteristics.• Designed a methodology using Excel to simulate AS400 nesting calculation to improved Parts location sizing and unit type quantities based on months of supply and demand data.• Worked independently as well as part of a larger team from Tennessee for one year since Nissan relocated its Headquarters there supporting the completion of a three phrase project, new Master parts 413,000 sq ft center in Delta Point TN –capacity 80,000 bin & 26,000 bulk locations and rearrangements for centers in Memphis & Smyrna TN.
