Indonesia (Buton) Mobile Team Camp Manager / Exped guide. Travelled with a science team and their student research assistants to remote areas of the Indonesian rainforest on Buton Island.Travel ahead of the team on recces to find suitable and safe locations to create a camp, meet and recruit local staff to help us in the forest, setup camp and organise supplies and logistics.Meet incoming teams, provide briefings, risk assessments, guide groups safely into the rainforest camps, comms back country manager, monitor safety, hygiene and welfare in camp. Daily briefings for science team and student teams when in camp. Keep records of teams going in/out on research.Throughout the course of the trip we worked across 7 different locations with forest camps in 3 different locations. These included areas not visited by Opwall before, one area of upland rainforest approx 800m absl with no water that required its own unique plan and unique set of logistics to achieve!

Manage Product & Operations plan & strategy, Reviewed flight pricing strategy to ensure margin protected on all bookings, removed poor performing product, started transformation project to define product standards that would enable product to stand out form competitors.Worked with other managers on a transformation project to re-brand (merging 5 brands into one) and launch a new website including tender process for new website developers.

Outsourced website development, built in house system to plug gaps not filled by existing systems including MI, automated customer docs & fully automated CSQ.Review of available reservations systems, produced business case for implementing a new system and implemented the Darwin Total Travel Management system.
