She ran a spa, and when she couldn’t provide her services during the pandemic, I helped her pivot to selling skincare products online, providing remote consultations, and blogging. I provided training in eCommerce and digital marketing, and she ran with it.My professional experience is just a piece of what makes me who I am. Here are some of my personal interests:🎬Movies/film exhibition–I love watching movies (new, old, cult, popular), keeping tabs on the box office, film history, and learning about theatres. 🎵Music—I love exploring new music. My go-to genre is folk, but I will explore it all. Years ago, I was a guitarist in a band with my brother and played several other instruments.👨🍳Cooking–I love cooking and learning about new foods and cuisines. I have a collection of kitchen gear and I am an aspiring knife nerd.🚀Space/science—As a kid, I was obsessed with Bill Nye and people generally saw me as a bit of a nerd. This included hiring and training over 100 new staff members and collaborating with home office teams to develop best practices for daily operations in areas such as cash handling, food service, occupational health and safety, and merchandising.-Worked with the theatre team to optimize inventory levels of key offerings to ensure we maintained safe stock levels while also limiting waste.
