I am an engineer by training, language expert by heart, and a professional matchmaker.Technical recruitment is at the crossroads between these worlds. My career started in international business development in manufacturing, I found a home in the intercontinental secondment of engineering specialists in Oil & Gas. Transferring in 2016 to offshore related sustainability, I decided to apply myself from then on to finding pathways for "old energy" professionals to "new energy" jobs.My strengths lie in finding less-than-obvious solutions for complex situations, hearing unspoken needs when communicating with organizations and candidates, while finding essence and purpose. And about about my many weaknesses I would like to say this: I don't know you well enough to share them with you yet. Maybe if we get to know each other better, we find time to share them.Lately trying my luck in technical translations between my most favourite languages Dutch, English, French and German. Mostly towards my mother tongue Dutch, but occasionally to the other three languages in which I am at C2 level.
