Senior z/OS Systems Programmer responsible for installing mainframe z/OS operating systems and vendor software. Currently planning for the installation of z/OS 1.13. Experienced in installing CA products including CA-ACF2, CA-ACF2/CICS, CA-1, CA-7, CA-11, CA-Panvalet, and CA-Eazytrieve. Strong knowledge and experience of IBM SMP/E, ServerPac, JES2, IDCAMS, IBM utilities,CATALOG management and diagnosis, Innovation Storage Management products FDR, ABR, and CPK, IBM Flashcopy, FATS/FATAR, DFSMSdss Storage Management, SMF, ISMF, IODF configuration, HCD, ISPF, TSO/E, SDSF, SAS, Language Environment, z/OS UNIX, File-Aid, Abend-Aid, Job/Scan, and Docu/Text. Recently completed major install of IBM's DS83000 System Storage Manager with over 3.5 terabytes of storage. Mapped and configured storage DASD devices on the DS83000 including 3390-3s, 3390-9s and 3390-27s and created/modified IODF. Migrated data from an IBM RAMAC to the DS83000 using FDRPAS. Recently completed migration from z/OS 1.9 to z/OS 1.11 successfully. Currently expanding expertise using TCP/IP, z/OS UNIX, and internet networks. Responsibilities include disaster recovery planning, implementation, and preparation for testing off-site.
