Envisioning a just world of good where people are free to flourish, Mark Pollard is a leadership, faith & justice advocate promoting excellence in life.He is the Chairman of Just Renewal, an advocacy & advisory agency, that counsels & challenges leaders & institutions to act more justly & wisely in good faith. 1. His work in public justice includes serving as an associate lead activist for one of the largest civil rights campaigns in US history assisting Black Farmers. He is a proponent for equity, reconciliation & healing. Dr. Pollard advocates for government reform & just policies at the US & State Capitols. He advocated for Congressional resolutions to apologize for the US Government's role in Slavery, Jim Crow & it's legacy.2. He helped broker funding for one of the first Small Business Investment Corporations led by people of color. Mark has consulted for businesses, agencies, non profits & charities including the Maclellan & Leadership Foundations. He promoted substantial grant making for notable causes including a million dollars to Churches burned in hate crimes.3. He works to unify the African Diaspora for greater global impact. He assists foreign dignitaries, brokers trade agreements & works with leaders from Ethiopia, Brazil, India, Israel, the UK & other nations. He supports Indigenous peoples & the marginalized from a myriad of ethnicities. 4. Mark worked as an educational consultant developing mentoring, drop out prevention & teaching resources. A forerunner in urban youth & family outreach, he led 150 staff in 30 cities, organized Black College & Cultural Tours, Teen Courts & CityLife.5. Dr. Pollard's work as a faith leader includes ministry leadership with several Churches & Faith Initiatives offering spiritual uplift. He cofounded Common Ground and worked for Mission America, Men of Integrity & YFC/USA on national missions & social programs. He provides counsel to transformative leaders & was mentored by the late Dr. Elliot Mason, an esteemed scholar-minister & the late Dr. C.T. Vivian, a civil rights icon. He builds bridges to the greater good in multiple sectors including business, religion, government, education, science & art. The author of several books including’Its Prayer Time’, & ‘Time to Heal', his educational pursuits & awards include a Masters & Doctorate.Living gratefully, staying amazed, pursuing the higher good, helping the hurting & nurturing spiritual progress are core values.
