I'm a tech with a passion for problem solving. I love to take things apart and try to understand how they work be they a clock radio or a program. Love working on a team and find it incredibly rewarding when a group of people band together to make something amazing. In the past have helped manage a small IT team as well as infrastructure management for small to medium organizations. Managed backups, DR orchestration, VMware Infrastructure as well as network administration using Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto and Unifi hardware . Performed regular maintenance and administration of Windows and Linux servers both physical and virtual. Experience in routing and firewall management and have helped orchestrate replacement of 22 firewalls across offices spanning the west coast.Have programmed windows and linux apps in C, C++, C#, Bash, Python and Perl. Implemented MySQL, PostGres and MS-SQL databases. Implemented, updated and maintained PHP websites (Drupal, Wordpress, Custom PHP). Helped manage a Oracle database and generate reports for end users. Developed a temperature sensor program for the Raspberry Pi in Python. Wrote custom code to upload data from Linux to SharePoint using the Microsoft online APIs (Python).
