Film Editor
CurrentStunning Heights is a drone photography and videography company based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. It is one of the few companies in the state that has FAA approval to fly drones commercially. Our clients include CNN, Riskit Productions, Keller Williams Real Estate, Marcus & Millchap, amongst others. As Film Editor, my responsibilities mainly deal in non-linear digital editing and production using such tools as Adobe Premiere and After Effects, color correction and grading, and audio design and engineering. Working with both our team, and directly with clients throughout the entire creative process, my ultimate goal is to deliver professional video that offers high production values and artistic flair. I also work closely with our chief pilot and owner during the filming process to coordinate shots and angles for all videos.
Remote Game Tester / Assistant Supervisor
CurrentVMC Game Labs offers large-scale remote game testing and network stress testing for a growing number of international video game developers and publishers. Since joining the team, I have had the opportunity to participating in the testing of many several AAA titles. I was later promoted to Assistant Supervisor due to a strong performance record and eagerness to help fellow testers on early projects. As a game tester, my responsibilities include following predetermined testing procedures to analyze functionality and playability, stressing networks with multiple access requests to multiplayer servers to search for problems, and making detailed notes on any bugs or issues located during the course of testing. As an assistant supervisor, I have also had the opportunity to manage and support a large number of remote testers (50-250 at a time), relaying testing instructions, keeping my team on task and in good spirits, problem-solving software and hardware issues, and coordinating with other groups, supervisors, and managers.
Recording Engineer
I joined the Xaviant LLC team as a recording engineer, working on the production of their upcoming title 'Lichdom - Redeemer', a modern, first-person RPG built primarily with CryEngine 3.Originally, I worked in close conjunction with the voice director, Craig Burnatowski, handling all technical aspects of recording and editing dialogue for the game. Later, with the support and guidance of the Lead Sound Designer, Frankie Loscavio, I branched out into sound effects and sound design. I helped to greatly expand company's in-house sound library with new sounds recorded both in the studio and in the field, including but not limited to foley work, atmospheres, and vocalizations. I also designed sounds for game elements including ambiences, environmental set pieces, and monster/creature effects.Working with the Xaviant team allowed me to gain a strong understanding of game engine functionality (specifically CryEngine 3), audio middleware such as FMOD and Wwise, and further developed my skills in audio production and editing software such as Cubase, Soundforge, Audition, and Izotope RX.
