I was involved in the development of the initial assessment to test suitability of candidates. The ability to complete this job relied heavily on the relationships I developed with employers throughout Northland. Working closely with Hotel management I developed new staff training manuals and initial induction process for management while developing existing staff to understand the requirements of their roles and implement efficient process. Staff improvement was measured against the learning progressions for adult learners. Facilitated a nationwide training programme on behalf of the New Zealand Food Safety Authority now the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI). This involved assisting food businesses and catering companies to understand the requirements of the new Food Control Plan and implement a programme into their business.
