Developing and implementing reginal training programmes for lower North Island from Level 3 operators to senior management. Facilitated and led face-to-face safety and operation content to a variety of audiences.

Accountable for the delivery of compliance and operational process training for the Lower North Island and Mid South Island distribution staff. A key aspect of my role is to assist staff to acquire the skills and knowledge they need to understand Fonterra’s business processes and become competent in their core operational roles.I am also required to ensure that training material is sufficient to meet the needs of the business by working closely with external training providers and other business units such as quality and compliance.

This role centred on the development, facilitation, assessment and reporting on the National Certificate in Business; First Line Management on behalf of the New Zealand Motor Industry Training Organisation (MITO) nationwide to more than 300 learners.Also provided support assessment support for the national diploma in hospitality for ServiceIQ while facilitating customer service and leadership training programmes.

Programme Coordinator developing relations with private companies and government departments for potential placement in the hospitality industry of learners referred by Work and Income. I was involved in the development of the initial assessment to test suitability of candidates. The ability to complete this job relied heavily on the relationships I developed with employers throughout Northland. Working closely with Hotel management I developed new staff training manuals and initial induction process for management while developing existing staff to understand the requirements of their roles and implement efficient process. Staff improvement was measured against the learning progressions for adult learners. Facilitated a nationwide training programme on behalf of the New Zealand Food Safety Authority now the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI). This involved assisting food businesses and catering companies to understand the requirements of the new Food Control Plan and implement a programme into their business.
