About Mark Pronk

I am an experienced business developer with a technical touch and marketing experience. During my career I have mainly been working for international companies. Among others I worked for a Canadian employer (CARIS), a Danish firm (Eiva), a Dutch firm Geomares. My talent lies in finding the right (new) customers and convince them of the innovative technologies and/or solutions and in this way expand the business and most importantly in a sustainable manner. Due to my long term activity in the marine domain I have been able to build up an extensive global network.The different roles in sales & marketing with the above mentioned companies experience has been gained on a wide spectrum of sales and marketing activities, such as account management, developing new markets, developing strategies, setting-up dealer network, marketing planning, organizing (technical) workshops and conferences. Furthermore by being and editor of two re-owned international publications (GIM and HYDRO International) an extensive amount of knowledge has been gained on the marketing side.
