After working as a stockbroker for several years I realised my passion for financial strategy and moved into a specialist Wealth Adviser role. Working with clients to understand the outcomes that were important to the and developing strategies to better achieve these results.

The SCBDO is a not for profit organisation that provides support for small business development for a region of over 200,000 resdients. The organisation manages 2 small business incubators and also operates the Small Business Centre - South West metro, a government funded group that provides coaching, business mentoring, business start up help and training.As treasurer/secretary, Mark is responsible for the financial health of the organisation balancing government funding and self generated income streams to meet the needs of the organisation and the business community.

As a board member of the SCRCC, Mark was responsible for providing strategy and overseeing the running of the of the organization in achieving its objective of helping small business become more successful.During his time here, Mark developed, managed and hosted the prestigious regional Small Business Awards, which grew from strength to strength under his guidance.He was also responsible for developing numerous initiatives that continued to provide income for the group for many years.

During his time at the helm of Tempo Music, Mark took the company from a 2 person show to a the leading entertainment and event company in its region. When he left in 2005 the company had 23 staff and was providing services to over 20 events per week.Mark received numerous awards for the business including the Telstra WA Young Business Achiever Award for 2003.

In his role at Qwest, Mark provided Financial Solutions to households and business owners in the areas of money management, debt reduction, budgeting and financial forecasting.
