Full P&L and organization responsibility for the US based subsidiary of entertainment lighting manufacturer, German Light Products, from where all North and South American operations are based. Working with customers from small to large and across international boundaries from a base in California with employees strategically placed across the country.The subsidiary operations cover sales, marketing, finance, QC, technical support services, import / export, warehousing and logistics.

Establishing and maintaining contact and coordination with the top specifiers and influencers in the entertainment lighting industry, ensuring they are fully aware of the availability, benefit and features of the GLP range of products.

Responsible for the global market focus and growth of the television and theatre lighting segments for Martin Professional A/S, and from July 2008, their entire entertainment market.This involves dialogue with key market customers and specifiers to understand current and future needs, actual responsibility of market growth globally including cross border activity.

Responsible for the business management of Martin Professional's Stage, Studio and Event range of products around the world. Working closely with the product management team to ensure that forthcoming products would fully meet market demands at the time of release, and then activating the sales activities to ensure the success of the products in the marketplace. This was an ongoing requirement with a large number of products that were being launched, relaunched, stabilised or discontinued in the marketplace at any one time.This position involved interaction with almost all other departments in the company.

Worked as Product Manager for the 'Stage, Studio and Event' range of lighting fixtures for Martin Professional A/S - although predominantly their moving head range. The job involved dialogue with key stakeholders in the global marketplace to understand specific product requirements for future use. Processes then involved product specification, dialogue with R&D engineers to ensure a full understanding of market requirements, then subsequent introduction of products to the market at large, and maintenance of the entire SSE product portfolio.

Responsible for sales throughout the UK and Irish market of the Martin Professional A/S entertainment product line, with focus on live entertainment users and suppliers in the concert touring, event, exhibition, television and theatre market places.The job was based from Martin UK's office in Kent.The job involved creating, monitoring and achieving sales budgets, across the company's sales accounts, which in turn required structured and conscientious time planning.The job involved interaction with all other departments within the company and teamwork was an absolute must.

Responsible for the design and production of all aspects of the companies marketing activities. This included website startup and maintenance, advertising, brochure / poster material, press releases, and more.

Responsible, within a small team, to effectively introduce more technically orientated products to the comapnies existing and potential customers, across the globe outside of North America. This was achieved through demonstrations, education, hands on application training and providing thorough support.Focus products included Wholehog II lighting control, WYSIWYG visualisation software, Chroma-Q color changers and the Starlite MK. V moving light, all of which were exclusively distributed.
