Built and executed strategic plans, oversaw functional support development, managed P&L, engaged with CEO and BOD on business performance, and prioritized focus to lead key customer facing opportunities. Through a change in company leadership and strategic direction ALS decided to exit the Oil & Gas industry entirely in 2019.

Upon the sale of TICORA Geosciences to Weatherford Laboratories I was promoted to General Manger for the Western USA. Was responsible for the integration of operations and new technology from multiple companies acquired by Weatherford. Managed significant business growth that required critical talent acquisition and construction of a new state of the art laboratory in Golden, CO. Oversaw significant revenue and staff expansion and then effectively managed the business through the global financial crisis. Guided the integration and transition for accounting, human resources, financial reporting, safety, and compliance from private to public ownership.

I was responsible for the operational and financial performance of TICORA Geosciences, a privately held wellsite, laboratory, and consulting company providing complex services to Oil & Gas operators. Joined the company with the stated objective to prepare the business for acquisition by improving financial performance, operational efficiency, and service quality. Marketed the business to buyers and closed a transaction with Weatherford Laboratories less than two years after joining the company.

I was a founder of LB Energy Solutions (LBES), a self funded energy consulting company that broke even in the first year and grew into a multi-million dollar per year business. LBES focused on serving large scale manufacturing and industrial companies in multiple industries by reducing their energy demand and consumption with custom designed hardware and software. Responsibilities included operations management, all back-office functions, vendor administration, and business development activities with executive level client decision makers.
