Provides oversight to Production Planners in multiple locations is a direct report to the Project Manager. Provides the first interface with the customer for receipt of assigned work and ensures work is properly scheduled to meet required planning milestones. Identifies and applies additional resources to mitigate planning issues that may negatively impact attainment of established product delivery dates or subsequent delays to the planning process. Monitors performance measurements, by port and ship, to maintain planning product quality control, promotes continuous product improvement, and increased efficiency in product development. Possesses a thorough understanding of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual ship repair planning and estimating requirements, U. S. Navy surface ship maintenance and modernization planning processes, and Navy Maintenance Database (NMD).

-Coordinated and managed the dry-docking of a fast-attack submarine and managed over 100,000 man-days of production work, ensuring successful completion of a 10-month extended maintenance period.-Designed and established the Management Information Center for a $26M work outage ahead of schedule, allowing 23 critical systems to be shut down and ready for upgrading 2 weeks ahead of schedule.-Developed and executed all required protocols for over 260 systems and components and directed over 500 tests in three weeks during validation of a nuclear power plant, associated laboratory and life support systems. -Interfaced daily with engineers, senior project management, and regulatory agencies to set project priorities and align projects to meet required timelines. This saved over $1,000,000 of cost overrun, freed resources for other submarine projects, and allowed the project to finish on time.

-Managed 140 personnel in the production efforts for 43 submarine repair periods ensuring that all work, testing, and validation requirements were completed within the allotted time frame.-Masterfully planned a first-time, successful completion of a 75hp seawater pump internal inspection. Using lessons learned, developmental training, and lean strategies, the timeline to conduct six additional internal inspections was reduced by more than 30%.-Improved the support services by utilizing every available resource to obtain $2,500,000 worth of support equipment.
