As a personal development mentor I currently mentor first year apprentices at 10 different football clubs in the EFL (English Football League) and have played an integral part in both the design and delivery of League Football Education’s (LFE) hugely successful personal development programme. My journey began with LFE in December 2018 when I was invited to deliver the highly successful My Future Today workshops in conjunction with the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.Our support continues to evolve and what we offer young apprentices is the opportunity for them to explore the positive impact personal development can have on high performance, well-being and transition.Due to restrictions enforced by COVID-19, delivery for the 2020/21 season was switched online but during this challenging period I discovered it became a wonderful opportunity to adapt my skills in order to understand how I could effectively support a wide range of people remotely as well as in person.Being able to work with such a diverse group of individuals means no session I deliver is the same but I thrive on the challenge of raising the bar for myself and the clubs which I support.

In my role as an associate of Switch The Play Foundation I work closely with fellow athlete's with the aim of unlocking their potential alongside the sport that they play.I share my professional experience and academic expertise, delivering a number of Masterclasses which focus on; Transferrable Skills, Brand of You and Maximising Your Network.Whilst I’ve loved the opportunity to operate in a wide range of sports my involvement with StP at this time is predominately as a lead deliver on the life skills programme with Premier League football clubs.As a fundraising champion for STP I ran over 300 Km during April 2021 as well as the London Landmarks 1/2 Marathon to raise awareness of mental health in sport.
