I started a business because I did not want to work for anyone else. Turns out when you start a business, you work for everyone else!My love of good food and good beverage led me to the Specialty Coffee Industry. It is a fascinating business, and since it is an agricultural product, it is always changing and evolving.My enjoyment of taking things apart as a kid sparked my engineering fire. Technical Support comes naturally to me, and the espresso & coffee brewing equipment continues to become more automated and more complex which helps keep that fire going not only for me, but for my whole tech team.And I am reminded daily, that although I started this business myself, with just a $750 investment for a Sales Tax Bond, I in now way got where I am today without many mentors, customers, friends and Valued Employees who made all this possible.

From that one location we were able to include support for local coffee shop owners as well as local roaster's customers.In 1999 the business made a pivot to spend more focus on larger corporate accounts as well as the more automated and technology advanced espresso & coffee brewing equipment that was being developed and introduced into the market place. This proved to be a very successful strategy and allowed us to work with the top companies of both customers and vendors. Our client list includes every major coffee retail operation as well as every major manufacturer in this sector. From just one account in 1996, we have grown to over 15,000 customers supported in 11 midwestern States, with more States onboarding each year.In 2022, after the covid crisis stabilized, we again made a pivot to return to add support and sell to individual business owners and small locally owned multi-unit roaster-cafe operators. This, combined with our CoffeeBar Companies LLC distribution offerings has allowed us to add an additional revenue stream and a new pathway for additional growth.We continue to develop and implement new business ideas such as an equipment refurbishing, contract equipment manufacturer training and a certified used equipment sales channel.
