Data by day, musician by night (and weekend)! I'm also a biker, a dad of 4 and a grandad of 2. I've worked in the data industry since 1991 and played guitar since 1980. My band, The Ibiza-Project have signed with a management company - if you need a professional party band for private, public or corporate events then look no further!I am passionate about data, technology & it's power. I love the clever use of data and tech in business but I'm also very aware of the dangers that the new data age brings.I have worked agency and client-side in the marketing, data, database and analytics sector since 1991. In 2007 I set up Qbase Direct, providing Data and Consultancy services and became Vice President at Qbase Group. In 2016 we rebranded to Kudos Data Solutions Ltd. In 2020 I sold the business and I now work across many disciplines, providing help and consultancy to B2B marketing, digital, data, tech and sales teams.Previously, I worked for 10 years on the client-side in a range of B2B Blue Chip and SME's - it was here that I learnt my trade, running Database, Sales and Marketing departments with P&L responsibility.I value common sense and planning above all else. This prioritised approach worked brilliantly.Or my Facilities Management client who targeted businesses based on the size of their car park - more car park spaces = higher propensity to buy. This gave them the highest response rate of any campaign, ever!Or my Fuelcard client where we built a prospect database from a combination of fleet complexion (cars/LCV's/HGV's), fleet size, fleet type (leased/owned/grey), number of employees and car park size.
