Built and maintained a WordPress website for textbook authors Dr. Gary Rockswold and Dr. Terry Krieger. Worked with authors to maintain website accessibility, clarity, and to communicate Rockswold Math brand to potential customers. Worked with a team of authors and editors to proofread, write copy and edit developmental, pre-calculus, and graphical approach textbook series for publication with Pearson Education.

Worked with faculty to teach to Colorado statewide standards in a manner compliant with all national ADA guidelines.

Worked with a large digital library and medical professionals to write engaging, easy-to-understand condition, procedure, and lifestyle-based assets that patients use to get informed. Followed plain language and other written guidelines using Health Literacy, REDA, and PEMAT principles. Improved the quality of the content by reviewing SME feedback and incorporating it into future content. Collaborated with SMEs and other writers to ensure accuracy and clarity of information.

Maintained an innovative, not-for-profit book press and online art journal. Managed multiple projects at a time and two editors to identify, edit, and publish original poetry manuscripts with Adobe Creative Suite. Ran online store, edited submissions, networked with poets, critics, and other artists worldwide via social media in order to publish their original contemporary work.

Worked with a team of peers to represent adjunct faculty at the Community College of Denver. Worked with administration, including college president to gain access to state health plan and yearly raises. Managed the council’s bi-annual budget.
