About Mark Rosenberg

I am an accredited executive and team coach and mediator with extensive experience as a senior manager and lawyer. For the past 13 years I’ve successfully worked with senior executives, leaders and managers as a coach, mentor, facilitator and mediator with organisations including Nearmap, Aon, the NSW Department of Planning & Environment, Ashurst, DLA Piper and Telstra. I have sat on the advisory Board for the Mediation Training Institute at Eckerd College (USA) and regularly act as a mediator for the Office of the Franchising Mediation Advisor. My approach to coaching, mediating and facilitating is simple: listen, explore, respectfully challenge and navigate action. This approach reflects the diversity and challenges in my own career. I started my life as a lawyer at a large Australian law firm before spending over 10 years in various senior management roles at Caltex Australia. I spent 3 years as an Executive Director at Sydney Olympic Park Authority before starting my company, Balanced Curve. I have worked as a Solicitor, Corporate Lawyer, Retail Operations Manager, Franchising Manager, Brand Marketing Manager, Marketing Director and CEO across a number of industries. That experience has provided me with a rich insight into the challenges leaders face when working with teams and colleagues on complex issues. I have expertise in creating higher performing teams by developing communication, collaboration and conflict management skills. I use best practice instruments to assist leaders gain greater insight into themselves and how they can more effectively leverage their teams to deliver outstanding results and transformational business outcomes.When clients are asked what they like about working with me, they say they enjoy my insights, warmth, support and willingness to respectfully challenge them to help achieve their potential.
