Design and implement technology solutions for Logicalis customers across North America. In my role, I design datacenter solutions (servers, storage, and virtualization) and security solutions (NGFW, Advanced Endpoint Protection, DNS Security and Content Filtering). In my customer-facing role, I represent Logicalis and advocate for a variety of vendors, including: Palo Alto Networks, HPE, Dell, Cisco, and VMware.

Design solutions for customers, using a multitude of products from numerous manufacturers and vendors. Primarily focused on virtualization (including server and desktop), but also working on more traditional datacenter technologies and mobility platforms (including smartphones and tablets).

Everything from assembling servers, installing operating systems, and creating PC images, to managing virtualized server farms, 100+TB of fibre channel storage, and coordinating network, systems, storage, and application teams to work together on solutions and problem solving.

Starting on the helpdesk, as a level-1 support technician, I advanced through the company, becoming a system administrator, system engineer, and finally, a system analyst. At the time of my departure, I was responsible for managing their Windows 2000 / 2003 server environment, Exchange 2003 mail system, and providing level-3 technical support for their end-user computing platforms.

Responsible for supporting the MacOS systems on campus, including the Journalism / Mass Communication department and Public Relations department, as well as the office of the President of the University. Responsible for coordinating the student computing environments, including computer labs and in-room network connections. Designed and built a next-generation MacOS computer lab, using PowerComputing MacOS clone systems. This solution not only protected SBUs investment in MacOS technologies, but also provided a cost-effective answer to the high-priced Apple hardware that had previously been deployed. Re-wired several computer labs with Category 5 network cabling, including mounting cable raceway and terminating cable ends.
