I'm a software engineer with a passion for civic and government technology. I believe that improving the civic, government, and other everyday infrastructure that we count on to be the foundation of our society is a crucial task that stands to benefit us and generations to come.I bring a broad set of complementary skills to my role as an engineer, and am especially effective in situations that require clear communication, presentation, teaching, or strategy-setting - even outside of strictly technical contexts. My recent technical experience has been focused on Ruby on Rails, but I also have a background working with JavaScript front-end MVC frameworks; GIS data; Python and Django; AWS devops; and many other tools and skills across the stack encountered in my time at companies both large and small in a variety of industries.
