The company developed advanced technologies for the production of absorbent cores used in disposable, absorbent consumer products, e.g. diapers – adult and baby, protective bed sheets, feminine napkins, etc. Responsibilities included consulting the company's management and shareholders in defining the marketing strategy formulation, i.e. the selling of licenses for the use of the technologies, as well as preparing the strategy support media: presentations, costing, IPO valuations, potential customers, etc. Preparation of the technologies' launch / disclosure at the industry's central trade fair in the USA, locate and establish contact with senior personnel of the appropriate prospect companies (the large manufacturers of disposable hygiene products worldwide). Presenting the technologies to potential customers (“road shows”), overseeing the testing and qualifying processes, and managing the negotiations with prospects on behalf of the company. Further responsibilities included drafting contracts and working with the legal department in defining and formulating the business relationships.
