Senior Level Electronic Technician Responsible for troubleshooting complex analog and digital electronic circuitry; including medical equipment down to the component level, working closely with customers and engineers to introduce new products and validate test programs and hardware. Responsible for assembling new electro mechanical box build for a special customer and instructing lower grade employees in assembling this device; Responsible for writing test procedures for all types of products and maintaining test equipment for the test department.

Test and trouble shoot all types of electronic communication’s circuit packs using software programs to evaluate the product, specifically optical receivers & transmitters, Sonet, SDH, and Mux/Demux. I have analog & digital experience to the component level. Experience running diagnostic tests with system test and environmental chambers; specifically gifted in trouble shooting to the component level. I am knowledgeable with the UNIX operating system and can navigate around extremely well. I am well acquainted with all types of electronic test equipment: oscilloscopes, dvm, spectrum analyzers, communications analyzes, transmission analyzers, and custom designed test facilities for many different product lines. I have had exposure to every type of device including BGA’s and devices having 25-mil pitch. I have extensive experience working with optical communications laser technology and the accompanying fiber optics. In general, my function at Lucent was to run product specific test program’s on custom designed test sets that would evaluate the products performance against specific test parameters and to clear any and all difficulties and move the product to systems test for final test analysis and shipment to the customer. Defective circuit boards were analyzed down to the component level, brought to repair, and then tested again to achieve a passing result. The very last assignment I had at Lucent was coordinating the efforts of a group of electronic test technician’s in order to maximize their performance and to help any newer test technician’s up to speed on the analysis of product. I function well in this environment and really enjoy this type of work. I have a deep professional commitment this type of work.
