Hello, LinkedIn community. I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with you all and share a little bit about myself and my work at Epitec. My name is Mark Ruma, and I am the COO for Epitec. By making staffing personal, Epitec connects talented people with job opportunities. As the COO, I am responsible for helping people perform better than they would without support and providing them with the resources and decision-making authority they need to perform their jobs at the highest levels.More than two decades ago, I was interviewing for an accounting position with our president. She asked me, "What makes you different from other accountants?" I replied that I wanted to know and understand the people who drove the business personally, as well as know and understand the numbers. I also wanted to work for a company that helped people use and understand technology to improve their performance at work. My answer sparked a career in staffing.As I look forward to the future, my role is to disrupt the status quo, challenge industry and employment norms, and create innovative solutions that help people perform their jobs at the highest level by making their work personal.
