Led publication planning for mavacamten, MyoKardia's Phase 3 investigational drug. Led development of high-quality publications and other Medical Communications materials, including peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, oral presentations, and print or digital educational materials.• Reviewed publication drafts for scientific quality and to ensure alignment and consistency with author direction, the scientific platform, and key communication points supported by data.• Managed author (external and internal) communications to ensure timely execution and delivery of publications in accordance with GPP3 (Good Publication Practices, 3rd edition) and company processes.• Collaborated with other Medical Affairs functions, Clinical, Research, Biometrics, and other departments to strategize, formulate messages, and create various materials.• Maintained Publication Plan to align with Global Medical strategic imperatives and goals; lead internal Publication Planning Committee and external Publication Steering Committee.• Steered publications team, including internal and contract writers, and ensured publications processes and timelines, managed publications budget of $1 million annually.• Lead development of The Lancet simultaneous publication/oral presentation of Phase 3 data at European Society of Cardiology 2020.• Collaborated to integrate MyoKardia publications and scientific communications process and deliverables into BMS during the merger (e.g., author agreements, DataVision, publication plan, and KOL engagement), including planning and leading a cross-functional, executive-level Publications Summit to align publication priorities across the business in anticipation of launch.• Won three corporate awards for outstanding contributions and achievements to the company’s mission.
