I am an Engineer with a passion to make things better; Be that by finding and fixing problems with existing equipment or systems, planning and implementing the upgrade and replacement of equipment or designing newer or more efficient systems.I am a people person and really enjoy working with others and learning from them as well as sharing my knowledge and experience with them.I enjoy that sense of satisfaction of getting something done, making something better or helping someone with difficulties achieve what they need to.I am customer focused and enjoy being customer facing.Key Strengths:• I have travelled the globe independently installing, commissioning, training and supporting customers in the use of Screens systems products.• I have trained new recruits in the company’s entire product range.• I learnt to always put the customer first and strive to solve their problems, making sure they are happy with the company’s service. This was often independently confirmed (without prompting) by customers providing positive feedback.• I have built stands at trade shows (IBC, Broadcast Asia and NAB being some) and have been responsible for their constant performance. I have successfully presented to CEOs of major corporations.• My opinion and experience have been called upon to gauge the validity of ideas and plans for the development of the company and its product range.• I am known as a “safe pair of hands” which can be called upon at short notice to fulfil any kind of task.• I have augmented my experience of working for a manufacturer to become a Broadcast Engineer. In this time I have successfully completed a major project to overhaul and re-design the Subtitling system under budget.• I have worked on many varied broadcast system and have gained a deep knowledge of them.• It's my ability to jump into tasks which I may have little experience of and work hard at fixing problems or implementing changes that makes me an effective team member.
