With a wealth of experience in financial services, executive leadership, corporate management and personal financial planning, Mark pioneered IFG Advisors' move West and opened the Denver office. After working as a CPA with Arthur Andersen and entering the financial services world with Northwestern Mutual, Mark joined PFP, a financial services marketing firm. At PFP, he held a variety of positions with responsibilities in sales, marketing, human resources, operations and finance and was elected President & CEO by his partners. Mark led his 275 employee team at PFP with an amazing growth strategy culminating in a 350% increase in the firm’s value…all while experiencing the worst recession of this generation. This success was achieved through trust, teamwork and the ability to empower employees.Trust and integrity have been the cornerstone of Mark’s relationship with his clients and his team of leaders. He has spent his career coaching and consulting with other leaders on their own life and business plans. Mark brings this experience to the western office of IFG Advisors to serve his clients from a viewpoint of holistic financial planning. Clients develop their life, business and financial plans using Mark as a guide and sounding board.Over the years, Mark has held the FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65. He earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of Vermont, received his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation through the University of Illinois, and was awarded his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College.Mark enjoys public service. He served as the Treasurer of the Denver Jewish Community Center and has served on the boards of the Economic Development Council for Orange, CT, the Southern CT Hebrew Academy. Mark and his wife, Deborah, are the proud parents of 3 daughters and 8 grandchildren. He takes advantage of all the Rockies have to offer and is an avid skier, fisherman, hiker and backpacker.
