-Design and Release for Regenerative Brake systems-Design, Develop, Test and launch of new regenerative systems for 2012 Focus Battery Electric, 2013 C-Max, Fusion, MKZ Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid vehicles.IMPACT: Design contributed to over a 60% price reduction from prior hybrid models with improvement against a harsher regenerative system engineering performance specification requirement.-**Design of system won top honors in yearly internal Ford Chassis Technical Presentation Awards for 2012.

Ford truck chassis department. Design and release components into production for F-series truck and SUV.- Engineering responsibility for component and system-level design- Team with and manage supplier of each component from initial design through to final production.- Partner with Ford test/development and production assembly to validate design and launch into production.- Initially on F-150 systems through MY2006 gaining additional responsibility on F-250+{SuperDuty} and Expedition.IMPACT: Knack for design resulted in a minimum of $.50 to $2 average vehicle save per year since CY2001. Warranty claim and component obsolesence avoidance saves of a minimum $900k per year for CY2005-2007. Mental drive/desire to understand all constraints in the designs and processes I work with/in leads to innovative designs and strong collaborative relationships.

Transit van powertrain systems and NVH technical support.- Support design and development on new V185 Transit power train mount system while supporting NVH technical endeavors. - Team with and manage supplier for engine mount system.- Trouble shoot and lead team on various NVH concerns throughout development.- Supported activities in both USA and Germany/Belgium/Great BritainIMPACT: Use NVH expertise to aide in the Transit development.

Noise and Vibration Test and Development Engineer.- Diagnose, analyze and provide solutions to product NVH issues. Supported both current production and future models.- Develop new vehicle model NVH targets based on both current production and competitive models.- Create and teach class to release engineering department on fundamentals of NVH w/respect to a given component.- Windnoise, chassis systems and squeak & rattle expertise.IMPACT: Empowered to find and resolve NVH issues; as opposed to waiting for issues to arrive in the laboratory. Took lab based skills and became one with vehicle development; continual vehicle evaluation.
