Thank you for reading this... Let's connect!A bit about me.....I was born and raised in South Wales, UK & quickly learnt the value of entrepreneurship from my parents. We lived on the coast & this was a tourist area so my parents started Bed & Breakfast, even though my father was a manager in a full time job. I learnt a lot from them during my childhood including a lesson on investing back in the business. They expanded from Bed & Breakfast in our home to buying a holiday property which they rented out. Then a second, third and finally up to 10. And of course I was roped in to help to earn my pocket money each week, which also taught me a great work ethic. My father retired early from his other job to build up their business.In 1977 we were fortunate to have some of the first computers in our school &I took Computer Science that year & fell in love. I wrote my first program that year & have been writing them ever since.In 1984 I joined the Royal Navy as a Weapons Electronic Engineer & during my 15 years there I traveled the world & met some awesome people along the way.I left the Navy & emigrated to New Zealand where I worked for companies such as Ernst & Young as a developer. I eventually started my own company & we consulted on behalf of Microsoft & IBM. During this time we did work for companies in the USA & I moved to Texas in 2007 starting the company here.We initially expanded into computer support, with it being our main focus but I never lost the software bug. So in 2014 I set up Pioneering Programmers with the goal to become the best Software Development company for small to medium businesses.I have also helped many businesses grow & have personally mentored over 50 small business owners to grow their companies.I love meeting new people, so let's connect & talk about our passions.And if you love Formula 1 motor racing then it is a big bonus :)
