Reviewed company-wide systems, workflow processes and set the strategic marketing direction for the company. Key clients were Target, Carrefour, and Auchan. The role involved satisfying the strict contractual requirements of these companies.

A national computer wholesale company based in Christchurch, New Zealand, employing up to 8 staff, with $2M turnover. Established key manufacturing alliances with China-based manufacturing facilities. Developed a totally integrated national logistics software module based on an SQL platform; which involved nationwide agreements with both transportation companies and logistics companies for the storage and distribution of goods throughout New Zealand. Direct reports of 8 staff.

A New Zealand-based operation, employing 4 FTE, and supplying 2 million pieces of Disney licensed products to the New Zealand and Australian markets over a 24-month period to a Fortunate 500 company, permitting large-scale national promotions to be executed, with $5M turnover. These were complex transactions where I functioned as a China sourcing and project management specialist. Each project required planning of 6-9 months in duration, and required extensive client and supplier negotiations. Personally supervised these large-scale production projects spread between several manufacturing facilities in northern China.During this time, some projects involved being based in China and handling procurement and export of IT products to global clients.

Owner and Operator of two New Zealand-based rest homes for the elderly, each with more than 40 residents, and each with $1M turnover. Successfully negotiated the purchase and subsequent sale of two $1.5 million businesses in the New Zealand private health sector, raising more than $2 million in loan financing and increased revenue by $300,000. Managed 30 staff in each facility.Both these businesses were destroyed during the Christchurch earthquake of February, 2011.
