I led several sales programs for GE’s gas turbine services business in both domestic and international markets. I was commercially responsible for the full product life cycle and the entire inquiry to remittance project cycle. I conducted direct engagements with key customers and supported field sales teams.Accomplishments:- Executed a major product launch for GE’s international advanced gas turbine fleet, resulting in $260M of sales and $300M of orders in the launch year.- Managed a critical reliability improvement program for GE’s global gas turbine fleet, resulting in sales of over 400 upgrades, generating $600M of revenue.- Led a process improvement initiative to re-write a financial support tool used in every transaction executed by the business (1000+ transactions annually). Revised tool met new compliance requirements and streamlined a formerly manual process, saving approximately 1 hour per transaction and eliminating errors.- Conducted business development engagements in China, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

I developed gas turbine power plant upgrade projects in emerging markets through subject matter expertise in international energy markets and power plant analysis. I led training to build capacity of new GE resources to sell in emerging and frontier markets.Accomplishments:- Supported closure of a $200M, first of a kind upgrade project with a major customer located in the Middle East.- Led project development for a new product launch in the UAE, resulting in a successful launch and orders in excess of $40M.- Led a cross-functional team to win a first of a kind major upgrade in Nigeria, valued in excess of $30M.- Trained over 100 sales and commercial professionals in the Middle East and Africa on commercial processes and products.- Contributed directly to CAGR of 53% during the 2011 – 2014 period for the gas turbine upgrades business.

I was a member of a rotational leadership training program at General Electric Energy. I completed three 8 month rotations, one with the Industrial Vertical Development Team as a business development program manager, where I initiated and led a strategic initiative to develop a distributed generation model for industrial customers, a second as a Project Manager in our Energy Services business, where I managed the execution of gas turbine upgrade contracts, and a third as a Commercial Manager in the Energy Services business, working directly with sales managers, application engineers, and other resources to develop commercial proposals and win deals for our gas turbine, steam turbine, and generator services segments.- Managed the JOLP Atlanta Community Service Program, supporting Operation Gratitude and other charities.

I served as the Iraqi Security Forces Planner and Assistant Maneuver Planner for a US Army Armored Brigade Combat Team. I participated in the Military Decision Making Process during the planning and execution of 17 separate Brigade level operations, all involving multiple Iraqi Army and Iraqi Police units. These efforts contributed significantly to the defeat of the insurgency in and around Ramadi, Iraq.- Managed the Iraqi Security Forces Program, the brigade's decisive operation, involving over 40 Military/Police Transition Teams and 12,000 Iraqi personnel. Developed ISF capabilities and ensured a successful transition to ISF command in the city of Ramadi.- Managed the brigade's Detainee Release Program, resulting in the successful release and reintegration of several thousand Iraqi detainees formerly held at Camps Cropper and Bucca.- Served as Training Officer, managing the brigade's training program immediately after redeployment to the US from Iraq, ensuring a seamless transition from combat operations to Redeployment and Reintegration operations.

I served as second-in-command of a M1A1 Tank Company in a US Army Armored Brigade Combat Team. In this role, I was responsible for managing the operations of company commodity areas, with special emphasis on maintenance, equipment accountability, supply, and general logistics planning. I successfully implemented and refined various systems to ensure the effective functioning of these areas during our training and subsequent deployment to Ramadi, Iraq. These measures resulted in our company maintaining an over 95% Operational Readiness rating during sustained combat operations over a period of 6 months.

I served as a Tank Platoon Leader in an M1A1 Tank Company, part of a US Army Armored Brigade Combat Team. In this role, I led 4 M1A1 tank crews, consisting of 15 personnel, during training and a subsequent combat deployment to Samarra, Iraq. Our primary mission was to conduct urban operations in and around the city of Samarra.- Led over 150 combat patrols in and around Samarra, Iraq.- Served as Strategic Deployment Planner, successfully planning and executing movement of the company and its equipment from Fort Stewart, GA, to Kuwait, with onward movement to Samarra, Iraq. Also managed subsequent redeployment to home station. All deployment operations conducted on time, with no loss of government property.
