I was responsible for three teams that provided technical support and application management for RMIT's enterprise wide educational technologies and the web site. These included myRMIT (student portal), Blackboard, Blackboard Collaborate, PebblePad, Web publishing system, Equella, Student housing system, Shibboleth integration, Research Master, Lectopia integration and middleware systems.

I provided consulting and software development specialising in e-learning applications and educational technology. For much of my time as Director the role was part time although for significant periods I operated the company as a full time consulting venture.

I managed the strategic development of the Division's web and e-learning initiatives including the adoption of new web technologies, e-learning technologies and web application development.

I provided strategic advice and research services focused on on the use of learning management systems in professional education and training. I also provided software development services and analysed and developed technical documentation and proposals for systems integration between DeakinPrime and Deakin University. I specified, designed and developed a web based assignment handling system for use with large student cohorts.
