Logistics Operator
Current*Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; placing orders in delivery area as well as responsible for shunting*Planning, coordinating and monitoring the efficient receipt, storage, order assembly and dispatch of goods; using space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently and making sure quality, and environmental objectives are met*Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse and driver departments contributes to these*Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary;*Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.*Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.*Route Planning and management and completion of organisational reporting as and when required*Working with the Team Leader to provide regular updates on workflow, deadlines and any potential risks in order to effectively manage and deliver SLA’s
