Msc ProjectUniversity Of Strathclyde Jun 2014 - Sep 2014Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom- The aim of this project was to investigate the cellular structure, the metabolic activity and viability of liver cells cultured in a collagen sandwich bioreactor and observe the differences compared with monolayer cultures. Looking to establish criteria for the development of an artificial liver system.- Experienced in complex gel handling and construction of controlled physical and biological cellular environments to modulate cellular behaviours. -
Bsc(Hons) ProjectThe University Of Glasgow Sep 2013 - Dec 2013Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom- Studied the relationship between transport proteins; mainly cGMP, with different classes of currently utilised insecticides in Drosophila Melanogaster. - This research aimed to investigate the mechanisms and to what extent these xenobiotics interacted in transport pathways and in Malpighian tubules. -
Student VolunteerBeatson Institute For Cancer Research May 2012 - Sep 2012Glasgow, Scotland, United KingdomProject: Tranformation of ERBB2 gene via transcription activator–likeeffectors (TAL). - Optimization of PCR protocol
