Client facing PM, effectively managing multiple production data center projects for banking, financial and healthcare industry clients. Managed 51 projects using PMI tools and techniques under the guidance of the PMO to deliver data center infrastructure projects to customer’s internal and production environments. Managed projects using PMI methodologies to build the company’s largest IT/telecom data center in Richardson with 15 CDMA VoIP IP-Packet-MSC, end-to-end systems totaling over 700 nodes for 24x7 operations supporting software development, test and integration in Waterfall and Agile environments. Administered annual budgets of over $11M in Capital and $5M in Expense for equipment procurement and system installation. Performed high-level engineering to determine project size, work breakdown structure (WBS), deliverables, budget estimates, and installation schedules. Worked with factory teams for new product introduction rollout of new hardware for availability and delivery to design, test and verification teams.• Developed Project Plans. Managed prioritization and workflow for all infrastructure additions and system reconfiguration projects. Annually planned, scheduled and tracked multiple project timelines for 20 ($100K - $3M) projects and over 100 small (<$100K) projects. Reported on project status weekly. Managed day-to-day equipment support tickets, escalations, change management processing, and repair tickets.• Saved $500K as a member of team migrating Nortel onto Ericsson Infrastructure. Planned software migration tests and created a test team to validate the migration of tools onto Citrix. Tracked trouble tickets to completion and facilitated bug fixes. Authored bulletins with instructions and menus for new methods of accessing equipment and trained group members. • Collaborated and planned BTS equipment moves and equipment reductions with functional teams to collectively save $1.6M annually in operating expense by consolidating equipment into one location.
